Welcome to Infusions KW! Here will be the Healing Blog where I will post all the benefits, uses, and personal experience on the multitude of spices and herbs. Please keep in mind that my goal is not to replace professional medical treatments or advices given by your doctor. My only aim is to share knowledge on how spices and herbs can assist symptoms of various conditions and perhaps prevent future medical conditions from occurring. Knowledge is the first step in changing to a healthier lifestyle.

Product Freshness: We hold the highest quality standards of freshness and quality. To ensure that you receive all your products in optimal condition we carefully pack and transport them in temperature controlled vehicles which allows us to guarantee that our products will remain fresh and in their original condition when they are delivered to your door. Please be available to receive your shipment so that you can inspect it and refrigerate perishable items as soon as possible.

Delivery and processing time:
- *Orders will be delivered within 24 hours once confirmation is received (except weekends).
- *Orders are not delivered on Friday or Saturday or during Public Holidays.
Returns & Exchanges:
We cannot accept returns of food items. It is not sanitary or safe. We do not feel comfortable reselling a perishable food item that has not always been in our control. If upon delivery the item is inspected and not to your satisfaction then return the item to the driver with clear instructions.
Delivery outside Kuwait
Delivery and processing time:
- Orders will be posted from our Kuwaiti site within 48 hours of time of order.
- Orders received after 4:00pm on a Thursday will be taken to post office on Sunday morning. Please note that in Kuwait our weekend is Friday and Saturday.
- No orders are posted on Friday or on Kuwaiti Public holidays.
- All orders are processed via our local Kuwaiti postal system as Registered Mail (must be present to sign for delivery). Expected time of delivery is 10-15 days.
- At all times during the process Infusions KW staff will keep you updated on your order via email.

(b) Pricing and Availability
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorisation being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been despatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.

Our Story

The kitchen has always been the most important and used area in our home. Meals are a way to unite families and strengthen friendships. When I see people enjoy my creations I have a genuine feeling of happiness. Growing up and all my years in Kuwait, I made gatherings just to have family and friends try my new recipes and spend time around the table.
The kitchen is my sanctuary for inner peace and relaxation. Whether it is my pickled spicy items or funky fusion dishes, I like to play with flavors and create new ones. It is where I find my inspirations and create new products. The kitchen is the place where I want my community to enjoy foods and learn with me.
The Beginning
I grew up with easy access to farms from a small town in California and we had a farm to table mentality in the early 80’s. I seriously started learning about the benefits of spices and herbs when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Lupus. It was here I started to piece together the connection to the foods we eat and how our body responds to particular foods. I also realized that most of our choices for poor food was from that of convenience! This is what I call the “easy to get” access mentality. It is easier to reach for a bag of crisps, pack of croissants, and sweet cereal to feed your family than proper real food meals. In an effort to alleviate my condition, I started to change my diet. Then I started to change my family’s diet out of concern for their future health.
Evolving
The more I learned the more I experimented. I started to tweak old family recipes for sauces, spreads, and spices. It is during these years I developed a vast knowledge of herbs and spices. Social media started to connect me to others like me on the same quest for a holistic lifestyle. Then with the appearance of local street markets revolved around good food my chance came to let my skills be tasted by the community at large.
Our Effort
For a year me and my husband Bo Salem hustled market after market every weekend, personally delivered products to doors ordered by telephone, posted daily available fresh products as I made them on social media, and participated as many charity functions as we could. Our humble beginnings started with Shakshooka Market, a nomadic food street market founded by the creative Maryam Al-Nusif. If it was not for her believing in me and my vision, Infusions KW would not be here today. Then, I found my permanent home at the famous local farmers market called Qout Market. The importance of being part of the Qout initiative is not just to sell. We are given opportunities to serve, educate, and learn with other community members via various local events all geared towards a lifestyle wellness movement in Kuwait. This was how my efforts were validated for what I did all these years to be of service.

We have grown during this last year and the journey has been remarkable. However, just as the caterpillar transforms to a butterfly; Infusions KW is transforming into a full service production kitchen!
Infusions KW recently leased a site where we have started construction on a production kitchen. Our products will still be made with TLC and have that homemade taste. This decision was made so we may continue to offer our products and also phase into providing healthy meals. It will ensure that we maintain standards and guarantee quality assurance. We at Infusions KW want to dedicate all our efforts to provide the community with healthy foods and inspire our members to become part of the wellness movement. Our mission is to promote awareness, sustainability, natural healing in a conscious society in quest of fresh and highly nutritious preservative-free products.
The Significance
If each household spent an additional $30 (approx.10 KD) a year on products offered by local businesses, it would contribute an extra $3million (approx. 1million KD) a year to our local economy, create hundreds more job opportunities annually and inspire thousands to build better community networks and make Kuwait more self-sufficient!

By eliminating over processed foods and artificial additives from our diet we are healing our planet Earth, our country Kuwait, our food community and sustaining the local economy. One approach to be a social change maker is saying yes to mostly organic food products produced locally and sourced from farms in Kuwait. By doing this we as a community will create a demand for the availability of more healthy food choices. Infusions KW offers an assortment of food products for various lifestyles and individuals with dietary needs; Gluten Free, Vegan, Paleo, or just want to eat healthier.

FAQ
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship our spices and zaatar currently to the Gulf region, United States, Canada, and UK. Unfortunately our honey and oils cannot be shipped at this time because we have permission for dry goods only. Those can only be delivered within the state of Kuwait. Prices and important information can be located on the Shipping & Handling page.
Are your products Gluten Free?
Yes, all our spices, oils, honey, and spreads are gluten free and do NOT contain any MSG or other gluten derivatives.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, all our products are suitable for individuals that are following a Vegan diet and none of the ingredients used are made with animal by-products..
Are there any preservatives, flavor enhancers, MSG, fillers, anti-caking agents in your seasonings or other products?
None of Infusions KW products contain any of the above mentioned ingredients. Our philosophy is strictly based on keeping the fake stuff out and using ONLY natural ingredients.
Are Infusions KW products Paleo friendly?
I have many Paleo enthusiasts that use our products because of our commitment to use all natural ingredients. We do not use anything synthetic, processed additives, refined sugars or sodium.
Are your products halal?
Yes all our products are 100% halal and also qualify under Kosher restrictions too.

“Taking the Ordinary and Making it Extra(ordinary)”
Infusions KW started as a home based business making a few jars of goodies for friends and family from my own kitchen. In 2012 we started selling our jars at street markets and school bazaars. Officially launching in Janurary 2013, we sold through Instagram and bigger farmer markets around the region. Finally, our production kitchen opened in 2015 and although nothing is made at “home” anymore each jar is handcrafted and every batch is still done by me to ensure quality.

Infusions KW aims to bring you everyday food products infused with spices and herbs to take the flavor to the next level. Not only do our products taste good, they offer the nutritional benefits that come along with incorporating herbs and spices into your daily food regimen. Our products takes your meals to the next lever so that you can have a essence of gourmet right in your own kitchen!
Our Objective
Our objective is to show people how to switch to making more healthy food choices and stop using the processed items that contain MSG, preservatives, high amounts of refined sodium and sugar (and list goes on) and plague all the world’s supermarket shelves. By using our various media platforms we want to share our vast knowledge on the various herbs and spices to assist in preventive lifestyle including exercise, proper sleeping, and healthy eating. I do not just want to sell you Turmeric Spice, I want to show you and explain to you the medicinal benefits of using Turmeric daily whether you purchase it from Infusions KW or not. I want to “infuse” your life with herbal knowledge, positive vibes, lifestyle tips, and offer healthy easy recipes that any busy individual can do.
